Closing the communication gap
Apricot is a web-based tool designed to engage parents, students, and teachers in a positive feedback loop. For this project, I did both the product design and the branding, focusing on developing an engaging tool that would make it easier for kids and teachers to share what was going on in the classroom.
Main Goals
Tell parents what their students are learning in the students’ own words.
Solicit classroom feedback for teachers from students.
Inspire conversation between parents and students.
UX and UI Patterns
We were heavily inspired by Material Design because we wanted a clean, colorful feel with one primary action on each page.
